Where is Diarra going?

magneto_ms
Real Madrid have been in pole position to snare the Mali international for some time but it is believed that United have rejoined the chase for his signature and their bold move could be decisive.

Although Diarra has spoken of his desire to play for Real, it is believed that he would not turn down the chance to head for Old Trafford if the two clubs can agree on a fee.

Lyon have stressed their determination to keep Diarra, who has been a key figure in their side since arriving from Vitesse Arnhem, but they have already bagged midfielders Kim Kallstrom and Jeremy Toulalan this summer.

Furthermore, Paris Saint Germain's Modeste M'Bami is also being considered as a reinforcement for the Ligue 1 champions.

There is the belief that a deal can be agreed before the transfer deadline at the end of August as Sir Alex Ferguson looks for a long-term replacement for Roy Keane. Villarreal's Marcos Senna remains another midfielder on the Carling Cup holders' hit-list but it is understood that Diarra has been the top target all summer.

Real will also push hard for the 25-year-old's services if l'OL do agree to listen to offers but United are thought to be ready to fend off the strong rival interest.

Where do you think he will end up???????????????

as i could read lately Diarra is probably heading towards Real M.He said that he wants to go to Madrid and nowhere else.everything is possible. And lately Manch utd had no luck with bringing some player like Haergreaves and Senna.

I believe that Diarra will in the end finish in Madrid.

I believe he'll go to Real, this is because it seems to be a bigger club, but then again he could go to Man United where there is a more of a chance of where he can get first team football. Real have too many world class players and he'd be like a backup for the team with the likes of Beckham, Ronaldo and many more.

No matter who is going to play in RM, Barcelona will win everything this year, Champions League, Spanish League, Spanish Cup, European Cup, International Cup...bar็a have just win the Spanish super cup against Espanyol

Ronaldinho power!!!

In my opinion, Diarra will go to Real Madrid (if at all) or then Lyon will keep him. Manchester United don't have sufficient funds to match up a bid as costly as Real Madrid can.
Anyway, Barcelona aren't going to win anything this year except for the "Spanish Supercoppa"!

ha,i believe(hope) you are wrong.Barcelona will at least win Spanish championship if nothig else.Real M. can buy as many players they want but they will never find players like Ronaldinho,Eto`o,Messi....

Vamos Barcelona !!!!!!!!

Funny thing is that Diarra most likely will be replaced by another Diarra at Lyon. Since it looks like that Alou Diarra from Lens and France will take over the Mali-midfielder's place.

Didn't see it coming with M.Diarra back in his days with Vitesse. He looked like a player with potential, but I would have not have a predicted a future transfer to Real Madrid back then. Wish we (Ajax) signed him back then and not Lyon.
