Buttons for nav-bar needed

Vanquish
I'd like buttons for my navbar made. My site isn't up yet, but you can view the forum here http://www.purebreedendlers.frih.net/phpBB/
The webpages are going to be the buisness part of my site, so they need to look good. I'm going to be breeding and selling fish, and have photos of each individual fish for sale, so it needs to be attractive.
I'd like the buttons to look neat, proffesional and user friendly. I'm not sure on colour scheme yet, but I want it to be user friendly and easily viewable, but not to look basic. Take colourblind people and people with poor sight into consideration aswell please! Let me know a price and i'll see if i'm prepared to pay for it. Please make it as cheap as possible as I need to get other things for my site and don't have many frih$ at the minute! Thanks alot.

Beats me, I haven't decided yet. It needs to be user friendly, look proffesional and basically follow the requirements on the first post. Thanks for correcting the link aswell. Embarassed I want it to look easy to read, but not for it to look basic. I also want the colours to go well together, and not clash. I want the shape to look like a proffesionals done it (don't think you'll have a problem)... Anymore questions just ask. But I was thinking maybe blue and silver or something along them lines? I'm not sure!

Are you going to have a go hammy? I was thinking different shades of blue and silver, to try and make it oceanic.

Alright, Not really sure what you'd like.. But here's a start that you can tell me what you'd like to change Smile

Here it is in action Wink lol

It looks alright, but could you curve the corners on the right or would it look daft? Also, is it just basic HTML to install it? As i'd just put them up as picture links, as i'm not very good with html. How would I go about making it like you have it so it lights up when I scroll over it? Colours are fine, but maybe you could make the buttons a bit bigger, but i'm not sure. I can't visualise it on a site. Also, what kind of background would be good with these buttons?

Any Alterations.. just say.
I'll try remove the black bit on the right from when it has saved. It should be clear. I'll just rub it out Wink lol

Also, i see u got trial of dreamweaver.. I'd advise using it. To make it glow, it's just 2 images. One without Glow, and one with glow. When you put cursor over, it displays the one with glow Smile

With dreamweaver, you can Select the botton that says 'Roll-Over Image' .. select the two images, and it'll put it in itself.

Else... the code is here..

Code:
<!DOCTYPE HTML PUBLIC "-//W3C//DTD HTML 4.01 Transitional//EN">
<html>
<head>
<title>Untitled Document</title>
<meta http-equiv="Content-Type" content="text/html; charset=iso-8859-1">
<script language="JavaScript" type="text/JavaScript">
<!--
function MM_swapImgRestore() { //v3.0
  var i,x,a=document.MM_sr; for(i=0;a&&i<a.length&&(x=a[i])&&x.oSrc;i++) x.src=x.oSrc;
}

function MM_preloadImages() { //v3.0
  var d=document; if(d.images){ if(!d.MM_p) d.MM_p=new Array();
    var i,j=d.MM_p.length,a=MM_preloadImages.arguments; for(i=0; i<a.length; i++)

}

function MM_findObj(n, d) { //v4.01

  if(!(x=d[n])&&d.all) x=d.all[n]; for (i=0;!x&&i<d.forms.length;i++) x=d.forms[i][n];
  for(i=0;!x&&d.layers&&i<d.layers.length;i++) x=MM_findObj(n,d.layers[i].document);
  if(!x && d.getElementById) x=d.getElementById(n); return x;
}

function MM_swapImage() { //v3.0
  var i,j=0,x,a=MM_swapImage.arguments; document.MM_sr=new Array; for(i=0;i<(a.length-2);i+=3)
   if ((x=MM_findObj(a[i]))!=null){document.MM_sr[j++]=x; if(!x.oSrc) x.oSrc=x.src; x.src=a[i+2];}
}
//-->
</script>
</head>

<body onLoad="MM_preloadImages('button2_over.gif')">
<a href="#" onMouseOut="MM_swapImgRestore()" onMouseOver="MM_swapImage('Image1','','button2_over.gif',1)"><img name="Image1" border="0" src="button2.gif"></a>
</body>
</html>

Be aware of where the Java script go compared to the Actual image in the body tags.
