I was browsing the forums and at the bottom I noticed the legend. It showed the graphics for a forum with new posts and a form without new posts, but it also showed a graphic for a locked form. Has an entire forum ever been locked before and, if not, what circumstances would lead to the whole forum being locked?
Question about locked forums
Not at Frihost (at least not viewable to members). The only time I see such action being taken is with a language forum, if we were to loose that language's moderator and no one else wanted to take over, it would be unwise to leave it open. (the posts would be left though as they are still valid, hence being locked rather than deleted) [this is my opinion of what might happen ONLY].
Other forums use them things like old requests, etc, generally old important information which might just have some use in rare cases.

I have another question on locked forums. Does frihbot move these somewhere or do they remain there after they are locked?
