Despite ManU's trumping of fulham today, i still think chelsea first and arsenal second. Arsenal were so unlucky to draw against villa, getting two shots cleared off the line, hitting the cross bar and getting a goal disallowed for offside.
Premier League predictions?

its only the first game of the season and there are 37 left.
the title has chelsea's name all over it, gooners 2nd, Man utd 3rd, and Spurs will round up the top 4.
Chelsea is top-favorite again this year.I think Manchester Utd. could do well this season ,even fight for championship. However i am not sure that Spurs will have that good season as last year.Maybe this years surprise could be Bolton?
Even though people regard Chelsea as hot favourites, Manchester United seem to be doing very well. Arsenal were unlucky and Liverpool were pathetic.
I think that it'll be Arsenal and Manchester United will take the top two though I can't say who'll be where. I think that Chelsea will be third and the fourth place has many contendors: Tottenham, Aston Villa, Newcastle, Liverpool and Bolton. Yet, I think that either Reading, Watford or Sheffield will shock us and take the fourth place.

I think Chelsea 1st, Man Utd 2nd, Arsenal 3rd, Liverpool 4th and Tottenham 5th. Villa will finish 8th.
I'm against chelsea and whatever blues they bring along with them. Man U has got to do well this season.
Again, things like these are very unpredictable

ha,Chelsea lost they match against Middlesbrough last night.I am so happy. And Manch. Utd is cruising.Go Manchester
I can't believe that no one has predicted Liverpool (the real Reds) to win the title this season - they're due it and they've got a solid team with a good level of depth. United, I think are still lacking in key areas - although Carrick was a decent (albeit a bit overpriced) buy. I reckon they'll either run out of steam or they'll end up over relying on Rooney and that'll be their undoing. As for Chelsea, like most people across the known universe I hope they have a stinker this year - they're due one and they deserve it - Abramovich might be a lovely guy for all I know, but he's ruining the beautiful game... :
I'm hoping Man U wins it, but if anything, Chelsea will piss it in this year.
Chelsea and Man U to fight it out for the title this year.

Got a feeling that Chelsea will flunk. Their defences have shown that. They soon will became Real Madrid, buying strikers after strikers without bolstering their defence.
Stars, egos will clash, that is for sure, and cracks have already been seen.

Man United are off to a great start, but theres still a long way to go. I predict Saha and Rooney combine for 35 goals this season.

Yeah, I know. They are turning into Real Madrid Version 2.
I wonder how long Roman is willing to throw money at them?
I think this year Chelsea will be struggling and will fight intensely with Man U and Liverpool. Arsenal is another team for the top three teams but I think they(Arsenal) could not be first.
But in the end, money power may play an important role and Chelsea will win first title again. (my prediction)
1 Chelsea
2 Man U
3 Liverpool

well, since the emergence of cash rich chelsea, the title race does not seem to be as exciting as before. for the past 2 seasons, we have seen chelsea easily sweeping away the title even before the season ended. However, this year might not be the same. The unhappiness level of the chelsea players seems to be escalating, and yes, they have some really awesome ssummer signings, but whether the team can gel is really a great challenge for the manager. But to me, yet again, Chelsea will still grab the title this season. this time round, i'm sure they'll face a stiffer challenge, from Liverpool and Man U. Arsenal is still in the rebuilding stage, but do expect up and coming teams like Aston Villa, Everton and even Portsmouth to give the top three teams a run for their money.
1 Chelsea
2 Liverpool
3 Man U
2 Liverpool
3 Man U
Man United or Chelsea for me, I admit being an Arsenal fan but I see no way of them winning it.
Well.. as I see it right now.
Manchester United and Chealse will fight over the Premier League title.

Yeah, I'm going to have to go with the majority and put my chips on Man U.
Speaking of American-owned teams, I'm surprised with Villa's performance so far. I doubt they will finish strong though.

MU just got beaten by Arsenal...
They had a great start, no doubt, but I still think the blues are going to defend their champ., though I really don't want to see this happen. The problem with Liverpool, Arsenal and MU is that their subsitutes players are not as good as Che's. That's why Liverpool always do good in cups but not in the league. Now, especially when all four teams are competing in both european champ. league and the local league, any injuries can kill their chance to win excpet for the blues. So I can't say that MU can secure their lead even maybe by december

This would sound stupid if i said this at the start of the season but portsmouth could be going for a europe place. Havent let a goal in, scored plenty of goals. I know they havent play the big teams but at this rate they could be beat everyone else.
Also Andy Johnson doing well at everton, and i think he could get everton in europe as well. Everton got more experience than portsmounth and could repeat their performance 2 seasons ago.
As for winning the league, its got to be Man U or Chelsea. Arsenal and Liverpool are struggling and i think they going to lose more matches to teams you would expect them to win last season

Nope, Liverpool gets so many side players this season with no key player going out. They will be better at least than Arsenal.
Man United played well since the season begins, but I guess there must be some lock room problem with C.Ronald.

HAHA!!! Portsmith must be leading the table now after about a hundred years!!!
Anyway, Arsenal seem to be performing very well without Henry. They beat Hamburg and Manchester United without Henry. That is commmendable. With Henry, they lost to Manchester City. Anyway, Arsenal at least won their first game!

Chelsea will always be the top team in premiereship.
I dont like man u or chelsea, basically chelsea as they "buy" the league, I honestly hope they never win the CL, and I just have never liked Man U, I am Celtic supporter through and through!
I've been in China but managed to watch the arsenal - manu game!!!!!!!! Wooooooo. I woke up about half the neighbours in the block when cesc played that ball.
While I think Chelsea still have the quality to win the league (even without Gallas - but now who will replace Terry/Carvahlo if one is injured?!!!) but I sense arsenal on the verge of a huge comeback. We need fulham to beat chelsea (not likely) and Manu to lose (more likely).
If Henry hits form, and we bring in Walcott to add some width, we will be winning most our games.

i predict man utd to win the title with chelsea a close second. the thing is i cant believe what i'm seeing!!! people saying that liverpool are going to win the league!!! its pathetic. liverpool are a bunch of man utd wannabies. they wont come in the top 4 this year and wont get into the chapions league. third will be arsenal and fourth maybe portsmouth.
ManU or Chelsea for me too
1st - Chelsea
2nd - Man Utd
