my sound recorder doesnt work :S ive tryed going into audio options

just the Usual Windows One
Start>all programs>accessories>entertainment>sound recorder
im using a headset which is pluged into the sound card
and ive tryed it with my webcam which has a microphone on it in a USB Port but still doesnt work

Probly a connection problem. what os are you using? Update windows, that should work, and also look for optional hardware updates, etc.

connect your mic pin to pink colour jack...
go to your audio properties(Sound Recorder-->Edit--> Autio Properties
from the "Sound Recording"
"Preferred Device" "select Audio Rear input"
and click the "volume" button and select "Microphone" and set full volume..
and click ok
then go to your sound recorder try new recording...it will work... other wise replace u r mic[/list][/url]

In audio
On the taskbar, double click the sound thing.
Master Volume -> properties there is an option for recodring (a radio button)
Maybe if u put it to that it will work.
Provided the mic is connected to the pink jack (the mic pin is also pink or red)
