I want to install mods on my forum. I want to do that with Easymod, but my question is: How to work with Easymod? What to do with the files of the mod (DirectAdmin).
Easymod for Phpbb
After installing easymod...
upload the mod files to .../admin/mods/
the files must be inside a folder named as the mod
Thn run easymod... click install mods... process..... next step and ur done...
if u want to uninstall mods go to mods history and select restore backup files..

Thanks!
EasyMod is not compatible with every other MOD, u need to make some editions manually, I recommend the SQL queries to be manually executed in phpMyAdmin or other database admin software.
The use of this tool is great, but I have found that most mods can not be added to phpbb 2.21 because of cod changes and the fact easy mod itself hasnt been updated since dec 2005 I beleave it is. Not say it is not a great tool, which it is, but you will run across errors in phpbb 2.21. Errors like can not find a line in a file. These files you will still have to edit manually, I also agree with a statement above to sql your database using the phpMyAdmin. Good Luck !!!
Also, the more that you mod your site, the more you'll have to modify files. It's definitely a good tool though.
Very true damj
The more modes you add the more the lines of code change which makes it all that must more difficult for easymod to read and incert new lines.
