If you visit the Philosophy and Religion forum, you know that some Christians there are taking an odd approach to persecution. Instead of standing up for their beliefs and God, they simply deny Him or end-up acting in a way that Christ would not approve of.

Acting like Christ:
- Accept everyone: Jesus invited all people to have lunch with Him and join Him in most of His activities. The people of His land avoided lepers and the cippled and lame, but Jesus walked into their caves and homes to heal them and speak to them. His 12 closest diciples were considered as bad then as a drug dealer is now.
- Control your temper...until you need to let it out: Jesus was going against most of the Jewish leadership. That meant that no matter what he did, they found a a way to discriminate Him. Though through all of that, He kept His cool and never raised His temper against them. Of course, there is the time when He went to the temple and turned the money-changers tables over, but that was an example of how we should be on fire for God and have a temper when we see such things.
