I am entering my Grade 12 year and it is comming time to decide once and for all what I am going to pursuit. My teachers all say that I have enormous potential and I can do anything but I am thinking about pursuing an M.D. Program. Does anybody who is an M.D. have any suggestions or thoughts on specialties ie. surgical, mediacl research.

Honestly it depends where you live at the present time.
In MOST places, medical research is not worth doing. GP do just fine almost anywhere in the world.
