Great things come in peculiar packages
by:kawaynon

I
Wide awake on a moonless night
Sadness shades the palest light
When Hermes’ voice suddenly arrive
Without no meaning just to ablaze my mind

II

Anger rose like a blast of wind
Painting my mind with reddish rage
Who’s this mortal with lots of courage?
To trespass on my sweet relaxing

III

I paused and think of what to say
To the culprit who commit the offense
Humiliation filled my every nerve
I wonder if there’s a chance for the word sorry

IV

Gathered up spells curse and magic
To punish the doer until its last breath
Then a husky voice knocked on thy doorstep
Asking if she’d done mistake
V

How come that this lovely lass
Could’ve done that humiliating act?
I let her have the final plea……….
But wait! Didn’t she clear the mess?

VI

The punishment that was laid on her
Was not too late for me to bear
I humbly ask for her forgiveness
And she’d smiled and said yes!

VII

After a while we get to know each other
Sharing the lovely feeling that friendship can offer
She sent me messages and I send her too
This keeps on as seasons come and go

VIII

I never knew we would end like this
Sharing our life above the rest
Only on that moonless night
Is when I learned my lessons in Life

IX

Great things don’t come wrapped great
It’s either torn, lose or inappropriate
But don’t be easily discouraged coz………..
Great things come in peculiar packages.
