I have heard the Testament album Demonic and thought it was really great. I haven't heard any of their other albums though. Does anyone have any opinion about them? They are quite heavy...

Good old Testament, Yeah! you're right that their album "Demonic" from 1997 is extremly heavy stuff, and of cause also one of mine favorites. I've also a couple of more that I can recommand like:
"The Legacy" 1987
"Live At Eindhoven" 1987
"The New Order" 1988
"Souls Of Black" 1990
and the #1
"The Gathering" from 1999

Testament is a pure old school Thrash Metal, so if you're into Thrash, Buy them or get lost.

Oh my memory is not so good (it's been a while since I've listened to T.)
I agree that Demonic is pretty heavy stuff too. It's rare now that you will see ppl say things like everything is good about that band. Every album can be listened to w/o puking.
I also recommend: "The Legacy" 1987 and "The New Order" 1988.

By the way, now we are talking about Testament anyway. Why don't ask if any had heard anything about, probably if any had heard some thing about evt. new releases with Testament now where they are touring?

Back when I still liked thrash metal, I had this one too, but everyone always told me it was one of their worst albums. However, I still enjoyed it for a while.

Once in a great while, I'll grab my guitar and start playing Metallica songs (especially "Master of Puppets" and "Jump in the Fire") just because they're fun to play, but no, I never listen to thrash anymore. I still have a great deal of respect for it, but I've sold every single one of my thrash CDs.
