That's stupid. And that stupidity is part of the reason the US will never be a good place for soccer. On another note, there's a building here in San Diego, on Coronado Island, that is shaped like a swastika...

I thought they are different. The left-facing one is for buddhism and hinduism. The right-facing is Nazism, because it is actually represents "SS", two "S" overlap in right angle (90 deg).

Croatian fans got the win and in spite of that, they simply tried to mock the Italians by doing what is a very "shameful" act indeed.
Little do these fans know that what they have done for 'fun' may destroy their hopes of hosting such a prestigious competition as the EURO 2012.

yes,this is very bad and i am very shame of this happened cause i am a croatian.And this is not good promotion for country that wants to host Euro 2012.But all kinds of things are happening these days on football games,and i hope it will get better

i dont think you should generalize. Soccer fans??? Your talking about BILLIONS. Really, you are. If you are going to call someone stupid for that act call stupid those who did the act, not everyone whos soccer fans...
They have to assess the situation carefully. They can't excuse a whole team for the acts of their fans. But if the mentality is within the team as well, then yea ... they do not deserve to be in the world cup.
by the way, when it comes to international speaking terms like this (or whatever you call it ) , it FOOTBALL and not soccer. lol. The sport is after all successfully commercialized by/in europe. and it's called football there
