Aveos are ugly. That's about all the review I can give, since I've never driven one.
I worked on an Aveo not too long ago.. first one I'd seen up close.
It's got "Made by Daewoo for General Motors" stickers placed all over it.
Now I can't vouch for the quality of the vehicle.. this one only had a few thousand miles on it and just got an oil change, but keep in mind... If you are planning on buying an Aveo to "buy american".. this is not the car for you to purchase... then again nothing is anymore.
Chrysler products have a lot of Mitsubishi and Mercedes parts in them.
Ford... well you're looking at a hybrid of Mazda, Jaguar, and Volvo (the Five Hundred sedans are pretty my 90% Volvo - The new Thunderbirds are 90% Jaguar... Fusion? That's basically a Mazda 6)
and GM.. well they've incorporated Toyota into their stuff for years and now.. <gulp> Daewoo!
If you really want to buy American... get a Harley Davidson
