I do not think that Boston will get a chance to go to the playoffs. Even though i hate the Yankees tremendously, but I do hope the Sox sweep them anyways.

That is true considering the current lack of quality starting pitching and the V-Teks injury. Still waiting for wake and his knuckler is come back from DL. American league wildcard race is going to be crazy to the finish hopefully if the sox dont win the east they can beatout the twins and chisox for the wildcard.
I think the best the sox can hope for in this series is a 3-2 to bring them to within a game of the yanks. The double-header tonight didn't go well, but things should turn around when the beginning of the rotation gets a swing at it.
This weekend was probably the worst ive ever had.....and having the yankees sweep the sox in a 5 game series at fenway has almost put me over the edge. Could we get some pitching please? Josh Beckett whats wrong with you? are the blisters back? Can someone please take out Mr.Roids and Bobby "it was the hr. derby" Abreu? Ahhhh..Since the sox will have to pull off a miracle to make the postseason I'm probably going to root for the mets just because David Wright is from where my mom lives. But of course I'll also be rootin for anyway playing against the evil empire.
That series was so bad for the sox that I could barely watch. I really think that losing damon to the yankees is what doomed the sox for now.
