I am trying to put up a chat for my site. it's for hebrew speakers. i was trying to write something myself in JAVA and then in PHP, however my technical background isn't good enaugh. is there a written program (paid or free), better in PHP, that can help me with that? I have one or two scripts, but they are in english and it is just to much for me to switch everything right to left.

Don't use php for chatprogram. Without Java/Ajax you can only see changes made by php if you refresh the site. And that's anoying if the sites refreshes all the time...
Actually, if you know what you're doing, you can make it so it doesn't refresh. It's possible, and I know it is cause I can do it. I can't write hebrew though.
