Thanks for sharing with us dude!
around one year back I come across one similar site to display Yahoo and Google Results in same page itself!
It was:
www.YaGoohoogle.com
But now, site is not there!
Niran
That's pretty cool, but I know something even better.
http://www.dogpile.com is a search engine that will display search results from Google, Yahoo, MSN Search and Ask.com. Or the 'best of all search engines'. It is pretty nifty, but doesn't have the same simplicity that Google has become famous for.
EDIT: dogpile.com also gets results from looksmart and about, 2 search engines that I'd never heard of before.
Cool!!! This is very interesting... Thanks!!
I think that there is and another one site that you can have Google & Yahoo! Search results together. If I find it again, I will post it!
There are many more :
Check out this one:
http://twingine.com/
The dude says he's running it on his home cop - cool huh ?
And :
http://www.googleguy.de/google-yahoo/
But all these do just the same thing - frames .
Those are pretty cool, but not that useful if what you want is easily available quickly.
Cool for comparing though.
really cool, but the one with google, yahoo and msn rocks
I like how when you search it shows you in one frame it shows you google search's and one frame it shows you yahoo results. I thought it was going to be yahoo and google serch's combined into one search page.

Yeah, I thought it would do that. The only site I've seen that has the option to combine results is www.dogpile.com.
Does anyone know how you retrieve the results of a search engine from another website like these sites do?
I heard somebody created a sensation on the net saying that yahoo and google merged with each other. I heard he crahsed his server due to billions of hits.
Is this that site?
Aditya
Cool search
Both together
I wouldn't have thought so, ncaditya.
By the way, I never heard of this rumour. When did it happen?
This is another example of how easily people can be fooled by things. Apart from the fact that Google and Yahoo would almost certainly not merge, there would be something about it on Google, somewhere, and Yahoo would definatly have something concerning it. But they obviously didn't.
i dnt known about this rumour too. even i heard i wouldn't believe it couse those two wont merge if they would then Microsoft and apple will too lol. i don't think there is any chance for them to do something like that. there is a better possibility for msn and yahoo.

Yeah, I totally agree. I hadn't thought of msn and yahoo joining up, but now you mention it I think that there's a small chance that they might merge. But the question is who would gain from that, msn has more people who just use the msn messenger program and occasionally use the search engine when they visit the site for updates and stuff. But yahoo has a large quantity of people who use it to search, as well as join groups etc. So I think that msn would get a whole load more people using their messenger program; however yahoo wouldn't get as many new users of their search facilities. They would have to completely integrate both companies’ ideas to actually get the most out of it.
i found a site that uses results from google.
Calls itself 'Clean Google' Doen't have adds or ought.
also shows u some anyomonisers (hope i spelt that right!) for anyominous surfing
Pretty cool, nice name, too.
However, there is one that's way better. I can not recall the name at the moment (if I find it, I'll post it here). It has Google, Yahoo, MSN, Ask Jeeves, Looksmary, A9, Lycos, and like seven more.
If you use FF you can 'Roll your own" so to speak.
http://www.rollyo.com/firefoxsearch.html
You can add as many engines/sites as you want.
Nice, you can see like... how Google is a teeny bit better in the way it searches and sorts relevance.

Is the name of it metacrawler??
I've already seen many of these, and I must say they are very good.
Nothing beats the simplicity and 1-2 of google, though.
Google is fast, clear and easy to use. Thats enough for me, and i dont need any other search engines.
If you need more searching power try Copernic. This tool is better than any metasearch engine.

Really but the site was too cool...............................
Hm, cool. But metacrawler is better. Or just google.
It's just simple multi-search site.
It is not difficault to create such a site. But this may broke the google and yahoo's license.
Very cool and I am sure will probally become useful when needed to compare results.
Intersting name aswell. I tried to pronounce it in my head and sounded pretty weird

sounds good, might try it one day... but for now i am sticking to google... its faster and gets good results first time
hmm a rip off of google and yahoo. That pretty stupid. There is too many search engines out there. i'm afraid to say this but it isn't going to last at all. There going to go out of bussiness. No one can compete with google or yahoo.
I was personnaly amused at first, but then I found out it's a pure waste.

yes same here
It seems to be really interesting. I´ll check it out. I hope we don't get like 10 million results per search though. O_o
Nice page anyway.
this is a good link for someone with ADD! looking back and forth back and forth...

To find out what results you got all you needed to do was type anything into the search box and press enter... I had a go and you don't. It merely displays the Yahoo search in one frame and the Google search in another. To be honest it isn't much good, anyway it seems to be down now, or at least I can't open it.
i just remembered something today about this.
i knew this guy who made a 'search engine' but was quite amused @ time when he said it just nabbed googles results(this was 4 years ago mind).
anyway, it was rubbish, when you typed in sommat, it came up with a load of unrelated garbage.
It is very funny. I have another one www.baigoogledu.com
