Actually what they can do is have the support when ever a mod is online, But that would mean more recruiting of Mods since it would mean an unreasonable workload for the current team.
yeah, having 24*7 live support can be very hard indeed....
none of us get paid for this, we're all mostly in different time zones and have our own jobs...

On a little side-note, moderators aren't on the forum for support. They moderate and are chosen based on their moderating skill. Really this could be only be done with account creators, whose numbers are even smaller.
With the small amount of time that people would be willing to spend giving live support, its wouldnt be very active and therefore not worth the addition (IMO).

I agree with mathiaus. If they were getting paid i would say they better be doing it. Live support can be hard to do. On the host I admin we have a type of live support where you can contact one of the admins by aim or msn. That seems to work. (we where voted best for support
