Real stubborn piece of spyware..

Been trying to get rid of a huge attack of various spywares on a friends computer.. Now, the main one causing hassle is `SurfSideKick`.. Causes lots of popus when you start surfing weither u are using IE, or Firefox..

AdAware and Spybot detect it, but will not delete it properly, it just comes back.. Ive decided the best thing will be to wipe and resinstall the computer anyhow, but if anyone has successfully removed this annoying piece of spyware, please share how you did it!.

One thing I've learned is that Best Techie is one of the best forums for malware removal with steps to remove them.

Did you try just pushing your computer back to a restore point? Sometimes that is enough to get rid of the pesky things.

If that doesn't work, you could always try using another browser like Opera.

Last but not least just type 'SurfSideKick Removal' in Google and see what comes up.
