MOST populair progs
Hey everyone..
just wondering what is THE prog of your day
i mean some prog that you really rely on, favourite PHP/HTML/ect.. editor,
mail/ftp/ect.. client, OS (Operation System *for the newcommers*) that you prefer, a prog for editing a game or something...
oke let me start:
#1- Windows 2003 (the best thing that happend to me, saved my life when my Windows XP crashed after many attemts to *tune* it
.. suddenly i noticed that my WinXP CD is missing.... but i had an internet copy of Win2003 on a CD, thanks to it i didnt spend the whole night wondering what to do
)
#2- Macromedia Dreamweaver 8 - for its great features and easy to work with style
#3- IMG Tool - for editing GTA SA
#4- Route 66 Navigations - (got lost while driving with a friend, luckly made it home the same day
)
#5- umm... well i cant decide between Linux9 and Macromedia Fireworks
both look very usefull to me

Moved to Software
Norton Commander for DOS in the past and its clone Servant Salamander (http://www.altap.cz/salam_en/index.html) currently; Midnight Commander on Linux.
And of course WinVi (http://www.winvi.de/en/) a nice Windows text editor.[/url]

Look at the very first sticky thread in this forum area.
1) Demiah: Operating System
2) jwellsy: The first sticky refers to favorite Browser, and this is a more general "favorite software" thread... i guess that's why i left it open in the first place..

Opera, Irfan View, and Notepad2 are programs I cant do without.
Burning software: nero ..its the best !
image editing: no doubt its photoshop !
coming to OS ..nothing beats stability of a Debian machine and apart from them the updates are easy to get
media player: mplayer ..no player even comes closer to its features

Well to me Windows XP and IE7 is for sure... no matter how many use FF or OPERA... many people still like IE and with IE7 in town...
