Hi, with my dhcp server I would like a setup so when a computer appears on the network they do not get an ip, they have to wait untill I accept them... how could this be achieved?

Don' have automatioc lease, configure your DHCP scopte to give IP address to certain MAC address. So if you get a new computer put it in your DHCP scope the MAC address and assign an address to that MAC address.

what i want though is a simple way to do it.... im running this for a lan event so i want say a list of computer names connected and i can click on that name and then clikc an add button or something.... or even is there a command I can send to dhcp to just add a computer name onto network?
