Yes, the site is doing strange things.. Relly long loading time and the site does not got nearly nothing to load, i think..

The only possibility to check if this site is clean - to enter into the source of it and check the links....

The site is very nice... I liked the design, something special, it's nice.
you have a great collection, both of written mtrls and pics, I hate videos, so I can't really tell you what i think of that. LOL

Two suggestions though.
On the "Did You Know?" page, the random quote at the top is printed in black with a blue background. It's much easier to read on that blue background with white text.
Also, on the same page, the trivia facts would be much easier to read if you use a <ul> list instead of just putting a line-break after each item. The list would really benefit from being indented and having a marker at the beginning of each line, IMO.
