Maybe I'm too much of an NFL junkie but am I the only one that is excited about watching some football this week? Who cares if it's just preseaon games. I wish teams would keep the starters in a little longer during preseason but I know they have to be careful.
NFL preseason
I'm looking forward to it! I'm a big New Orleans Saints Fan (check out my website- link at bottom!) so I'm waiting to see what all the changes we've had will bring. Actually, I don't see us winning more than 6 or 7 games. We have way too many holes left to fill. The offensiveline still needs help, and without them, all the big names in the backfield won't do you much good. The defense is still a question mark, though I think they will at least be better.
To me, the biggest plus is that Haslett's gone.

It gets me anxious for the regular season... but I don't watch them. It's not exciting since the starts only play like 5 minutes, haha.
I'm exicted. Preseason is nice to see how your team is doing. I just love watching football its one of the best sports.
I thought the Packers would look good. Brett said the team looked good, but I guess I have to be there to coach the team on. I missed it last night and I was not happy. Will have to wait for next weekend.
I'm not happy about missing the 49ers' preseason games while away at college. Although it's good to see (or read) that Alex Smith is doing a lot better this year. I don't think I've ever seen a quarterback play like a deer in headlights like Smith did last year. Preseason is great because you get to see all the young guys play and watch the team work together.
Yeah, the packers picked up the Asst. Coach from San Fran last year. I don't know yet, but if the first game is any indication, we might have another bad year. Oh well, will have to wait anothre 20 years for another superbowl win.

ya hopefully, but after watching yesterday who knows
i think the giants are going to be for real this year. It should be interesting to see how this season plays out. Alot of teams got better in the offseason. Some teams are looking great in preseason, but we all know that basicalyl means crap because the players only play in like the first quator

Yeah. He was our offensive coordinator but he's a West Coast Offense guy. Actually the offense was running really well at the beginning of the season but once the offensive line broke down everything went crazy. And then there's the craziness that was Alex Smith's rookie season. So I don't know how well you can judge your coach based on last year.
