PHP/MYSQL... teach me, what i have to do...

the net has loads of tutorials i know... but they go way over my head, i tried learnin so many times...

well, can someone just help me install a poll system which uses mysql... i think it will be quite easy......

like, run me through step to step, so i know how to install mysql scripts in the future...

There are two ways to execute MySQL-commands.

1. With a phpscript
2. Via PhpMyAdmin

I think the script is easy to install.
So do you want a full tutorial or do you want that I tell you what to do in this case with your mini-poll?

yep... kind of you run me through that poll script step by step, tellin me exactly what to do... this way i get the poll installed and im learning at the same time..........

Well, let me see if I can help you.
Are you trying to learn php, by adding some scripts on your site?
That will propably not work. You should start with a tutorial about PhpMyAdmin and the sqlconnection.

By the way: I have your newsletter finished. Can your create a temporary email adress? I currently don't have a ftpclient installed. So I can't upload the files.
