are there any good photo editors like psp that are freeware? Picasa is a nice viewer with some quick photo edit features, however it does not quite allow for full scale editing liking like PSP. any ideas?
orno
you could try GIMP for windows Razz

I now use Adobe Photoshop CS + Imageready, Adobe Illustrator, Dreamweaver MX, Flash, MX, and Fireworks MX. I used to use Jasc PSP but I find I can do much more with Adobe PS. I learned HTML using only notepad, and that is what I used for 2 years straight. Now I use the combination of Imageready and Dreamweaver and I can create much better "professional" looking websites.

For HTML/CSS/Javascript coding, I use MetaPad

I'm cheap.

Coding: PSPad - organizes all files in a nice little "project" format and does syntax highlighting and spell checking and auto-indenting and includes an FTP client. Basically Notepad on steroids.

Imaging: I can do most of my imaging with Microsoft Paint but every so often I'll need to do some advanced editing with The GIMP (free Photoshop! woohoo!).

FTP: I use FileZilla for any non ASCII files.
