hi my name is sreenath pillai. i have many interests. i am going to start my senior year of high school in the USA and am a BIG computer geek. I enjoy programming, software, and hardware (computer building and modding). i am preaccented to the university of madison for a medical scholars program so for the next 6 years my life will be a living hell but i will get a MD and PhD so i guess its worth it. i enjoy chess and had a question about hosting:
i submitted a application for hosting yesterday, havent gotten a response. is this normal, or am i just not going to get accepted? i was wondering what other criteria are considered when applying for a subdomain as i have.
currently the projects i am working on are:
COMPUTER
SOFTWARE: online chess applet similar to yahoo! games but better and safer and more accurate rating system
HARDWARE: build a gaming laptop with a mini-ITX motherboard, intel core duo T2500 (2ghz dual core, similar performance to a 3.8 extreme edition), 2gb ram, ultra thin keyboard, low profile x1600 pro voltmodded to xt 250 w low profile psu connected to a 12V battery (small, laptop sized) with a USB tv tuner and wifi connected directly onto mainboard. so far so good, just need a battery (it works plugged in) btw the screen is a 19" LCD
ELECTRONICS:building a lightsaber with a g-force sound activated sensor that will make star wars like sounds as the saber moves and a clashing noise when it hits something.
WEB: working on a website (it is not very good so far, i have no design skills lol)
