Well nichebot.com is a good tool to use.
But I can't really say if nicebot or wordtracker provides the most accurate results.

try google for a niche and see the total results found if it is not above say a quartet million that is very good niche if you try seriously.

I watch tv, sounds stupid but it works. Just analyze everything that's going on, anywhere, not just tv.
all i can say is a creative person is the most succesful when it comes to internet marketing and creating websites. we must wait for the right oppurtunity and time. always do not forget your ideas take notes whenever possible and i am sure it will help you

Use digital point to note down the number of searches made per day .
Use google to note down the amount of competition .
