I've always been using KDE, but recently i switched to Gnome.
Somewhere i read that Gnome works best if famd is running. So i inserted it to my init.d scripts.
The problem is that whenever i want to umount a partition or fileshare that damn process has open file handles to the trash folders of that mount. So whenever i want to umount i first have to restart famd.
There must be a simple solution to this.
