fan fiction allowed?

i'm looking for potential new host for some of my fanfic sites. is this allowed?

the content would contain images of/stories with characters not owned by me, but with full disclosure on who owns the intellectual property(ies) and that i am making no profit on these.

Well, as for writing the stories it is perfectly legal as long as you hold the ownership. For the pictures, I would have to say that you might want to have the OK from the copyright owner on hand in-case bondings or one of the moderators wants to see it.
