Help.. winxp Sp2 Problem..

hey guys,,, i've been using sp1 for several years and now i would like to use winxp sp2, but the main problem is that after i installed the winxp sp2 in my partition and restart it, it hangs-up in the boot screen...

i have tried several installers.... i tried winxp home sp2, winxp pro sp2, winxp pro corporate edition sp2.. but it all freeze up in the boot screen..
btw, i could enter the window if i use "safe mode"..

please help me how to fix this..

When it hits the loading bar screen. Turn off the current electricity switch ... Works for me ...

I have friend who upgraded the xp sp2, immediately had the problem
of driver not recogized... and antivirus not activated... Sad

If possible, not to upgrade xp sp2.

boot your system and select f8 and go to last known good congiruation....

or boot your system with thirdparty booting like winternal and restore to a previous date than you updated xp2

just installthe windows xp with ur installation disk... then try the autoupdate and let it install the XP SP2 for u....

also if u have the SP2 the 266mb exe file then just run it... while u r in windows... it will install it self... Smile
