put adds on phbb
Just Goto:
root/templates/ur_template/overall_header.tpl
Open the file in some editor!
goto last line and put ad like this:
(for banner advt)
It will diplay one top banner just below the navigation bar like the advt on my site:

When I placed the ads I didn't know anything about html so this is what I did. I went to that file and opened it on Microsoft Frontpage. That made things a lot easier coz I knew exactly where I was placing the ad. That's a tip for absolute beginners.
