Firefox Extensions Misfiring

I have been adding many Firefox extensions since I reformatted my Hard Drive yesterday. Several of them don't seem to be working:

Print/Print Preview 0.2 does not place any button on my toolbar.
Search Button 0.5.2 does not place a search button next to my search engin box.
Check4Change 1.0 does not seem to provide me with the options I anticipated in any of the dropdown menus.

Please advise.

Try reinstalling Firefox, when something like this happens, I always try to reinstall the application(s).

Hmmm. That's funny. I've never had problems with my FireFox extensions. and I have several of them. Perhaps you'd need reinstalling your software.

If its not anything to do with version compatability issues just reinstall them or see if you made some mistakes ( eg. not enabling it :X )

I did not realize that with some plugins after you install them you still have to go to customize to add the button.
