SMF forum- help needed please

Hello everyone. I hope you are well.

On my smf forum which can be accessed here http://islamhope.frih.net/forums/ when someone clicks on register, or i try to quick login, it says this message:

You don't have permission to access /forums/index.php on this server.

Additionally, a 404 Not Found error was encountered while trying to use an ErrorDocument to handle the request.

What's wrong with it?

Have you properly set the CHMOD's to the folders and files that it explains in the .zip file when you download it?

if i remember correctly you must chmod some files to 777. To do this, read the installl guide to find out which files need access, and in your ftp client right click the file and choose CHMOD, then write 777 or 775. Also, you have to change access for some direfctories, but also for the files in it.
Anyway, smf is a pretty strong forum software, so if something went wrong, try reinstalling it... that's where the problem may lie Wink
