I have been pronouncing Frihost as Fry-host ever since I saw the name. Now I begin to think I'm not pronouncing it correctly. Should it be pronounced as Free-host?
How is Frihost pronounced?
I'm not sure actually
I've always just said "free-host"
I've always just said "free-host"
Actually i think its pronounced the exact same way as it is written so frihost not fraihost and neither fri:host. But thats just my humble opinion.
I pronounce it as "free host".
I have no idea how "Frih.net" is meant to be pronounced though...

I'm pretty sure it's pronounced "free host," although I suppose you could refer to it also as "fry host." However, considering the fact that the web hosting service is free, then I'd have to side with the first pronounciation.
I don't know. I've always been saying 'fry-host'. Can't some mod let us know?
This one would be a good one to hear Bondings opinion on. I've always said 'fry" but it really depends which language is your native, and which country you hail from. it's "natural" for different people to pronounce it in different ways. very interesting.
I always pronounced it "Fry-host" but I think it's "Free-Host."
As Bondings has said earlier,
FRIhost stands for "Free, Reliable, Internet host"
So I suppose it is pronounced FreeHost
FRIhost stands for "Free, Reliable, Internet host"
So I suppose it is pronounced FreeHost
Don't want to be picky or anything but there is no such thing as y symbol in phonetics. Fry is pronounced as "frai" and free is pronounced as "fri:" where i: is long i vowel for those that aren't familiar with phonetic symbols.
