Movie Makin' Software

Hi Guys,
I was wondering if there was a free/cheap program to be able to make movie things with, Vue 5 Infinite, Maya 7.0, and Flash MX are good but too expensive.

Is there anything else out there worth trying?

What kind of movie things are you referring to? When I first read the title I assumed you meant video (live action) stuff. But reading your post there it seems that you are looking at computer animation (Flash, Maya etc.)

Is it for online use? Will you be working with live-action video?

Try Blender. This is a free opensource 3d modeling/ animation software.

I don't know if this is what you are looking for as your thread is a little confusing. Blender is not for making web animations like Flash, it is more like Maya and will allow you to make 3d animations/ characters/ objects...

Let me know if this was the type of thing you were looking for.

Blender's pretty nice. Anim8tor is not bad either. Just search google for anim8tor.
