I'm about to get battlefield 2, and i have a question or two.
I wanted to know if it has a single player feature? If so, does it allow you play against bots like UT2004 does? Answers to these questions would be greatly appreciated.

SO: BUY BF2 WITH AN AMAZING GRAPICHS! the whole idea of single player is that its you vs. the computer which is a bot

It's a great game and I recommend you buy it, the others seem to have answered your questions but I want you to know something that many people do not. Even though some integrated Intel graphics cards could handle the game, they simply just do not work, I am not sure why but the game won't even boot if you are using one. Just a heads up.
There is a single player modus. However, it is not comparable to BF1942's missions. The only single player option you have, is to play against bots on a 16 player map. I recommend playing online if you want real fights (no real air assets versus bots).
okay thanks a bunch. even if there wasn't a single player mode i was gonna buy it I actually recently bought the game. Yeah, the single player itself is pretty cool. Be sure to get the latest patch for the game though (1.3) I think. It fixes some bugs and allows you to do a co-op game with friends (so you can have people vs bots intead of just one.
