Well, tomorrow at approximately 3:00 am I will be leaving to Chicago Midway airport and bording a flight for Houston, TX and then another for Brownsville, TX and taking a bus over to Matamoros, Mexico.
You may wonder what this has to do with Philosophy or Religion, but this is a mission trip.
Sponsored by the missions company AIM (Adventures in Missions), our Church and another local Church will be going to Mexico to spread the word of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior, put on a Vacation Bible School for the children, and building 3 houses for the poorest families.
As well as spending a day in the city, playing soccer with the children, going on prayer walks, and just in general having fun. This will truly be a work hard play hard trip, and I am very excited.
