yes, i live in the uk...
my car has the darkest tint available on the back 3 windows (2 side, and 1 rear)
however... the 2 front windows... are not allowed to be tinted at all if you want it to be legal...
i have had my tint for about... 8 months and not once has the police mentioned anything about the tint... my friend also has the same, and he has had no problems.
im sure the front windows can be tinted but i think its about a 30% tint that is allowed but that is why i asked

Call the police (not the emergency number of course), they should know exactly what you are allowed to do. Yes it might be a lazy way, but it΄s fast and easy
www.google.com there is your answer to everything. Just search for it.
From where i live, you can't tint the front, driver, and back windows. That ruins the whole tinting thing. T.T
i can understand the rear and front windsheild but the others should be allowed to be tinted. Thats the way it is in PA. A cop would have to be a real jerk to pull you over for something like that. My friend has a dark tint on his car and no cops have bothered him.
now, why would it be illegal to tint the rear window???

they can be tinted up to 30%, but its irrelevant on most modern cars since almost all are tinted to that level as standard!
Basic rule of thumb, anything infront of the b-pillar cant be tinted.
HERE IN THE PHILIPPINES , WINDOW TINTING IS PROHIBITED UNLESS YOU ARE A POLITICIANS! IRONIC RIGHT? they used to compiscate the license of those who will violate the rules on window tinting. But unfortunately, if you will see those cars of congressman and senators, WOW! they are all HEAVY TINTED. And it is legal not because of the law, but bacause they are the LEADERS! what a men!
Here in florida it's 19%
In arkansas I believe it's no less than 20%VLR on the front windows, 10%VLR on the back.
Me too I have no idea. But if you really struggle to find out. then ask around few garages and compare what you have heard. That will gives you some idea..
Here in Missouri, it's up to each individual community to decide on window tinting rules... the state, or even St. Louis County as a whole has no laws against it.. anymore.
Most communities are O.K. with tinting anything except the front windshield, but like I said what is legal here may get you a ticket in the next town ten miles away.
