Best Not-Laggy Free Blog Site?

I've tried Blogger, too laggy.
I've tried Xanga, too less features.

What should I try next?

I want a blog that:
- can be customized (custom templates)
- no ads
- not laggy
- easy to update

What could I use?

Why not use a frihost account and install wordpress. It wouldn't be laggy and it would have quite alot of features. Smile

Or simply go to www.wordpress.com - I've not experienced any lagg or downtime there yet.

One downside is that you are not allowed to have ads on your site - so if you're planning on that, try another host.
