Want to insert videos on my website...any ideas?

Hi,
I know how to insert movies (avi files) so that people can download them but I don't know how to insert movies so that people can actually watch them on the browser.
I use Dreamweaver 8.
Can anyone give me a clue?

There are a few options. First, you could upload them to an online video service like google video or youtube, and then embed them on your page.
Second, you could convert the video to a web playable format like wmv or quicktime and just let them watch.
The only problem you have is that avi videos are not playable in a web browser.
