Has anyone here used it or seen it in action?

yes, I used to use it a bit...
i used it to create humanoid systems eg. bone structure etc. tis awsome for this.
i also used it in the design of some old Half-Life levels.

Its a great program if you can afford to have it.

i was using 3ds max but i didn't like it. It's too complicated to me... And yes, i like modo 201

3DS MAX are good on 3D Game Modelling and 3D Movie Animation. There are also some tools you can use like MAYA, Blender, Milkshape 3D.

3DS Max is the best 3D Modelling's software. I agree with you, it's not the easier but it's the one who offers the most possibilities.
Moreover, 3ds and maya have amalgamated (or gathered I don't know the right word I'm french Razz

)or will soon do it. This union will permit to this software to increase in improving the things u can do with it.

I'm waiting for the next version... Wink
