to not have phpbb installed when u install php nuke? b/c i have phpbb already installed and working and set up just how i want it. i dont want to have the one phpnuke has to mess it up so id have to start over. any help would be great.

As long as you install the two to different directories and use different databases to hold the tables you should be good. I don't know of any other way you would have an issue.
