Python support for MySQL

Hello. I want to access MySQL from a Python CGI. However, MySQLdb doesn't seem to be installed. I did a printout of everything in the sys.path environment variable, but I don't see any other modules for accessing it.

Is there any way to install MySQLdb for the servers here? Or is there any alternative already provided on Frih.net?

Are there any plans to provide any sort of Python database access? Or should I concentrate on working with PHP instead?

I dont mean to sound lame or anything but i would also appreciate if there whas a way to access databasees with python Smile
