i like em. but whos Carl Gustav Jung? or Honor de Balzac?
(call me ignorant)
^^; Here’s a fun topic. Why specifically quotes from famous people, though? No proverbs?
A few offerings:
It takes all sorts to make a sex.—Saki (Hector Hugh Munro)
There is nothing like desire for preventing the things one says from bearing any resemblance to what one has in one’s mind.—Marcel Proust
I will attempt to show that the disappearance of the story from this corner of the world is a story in itself.—Valclav Havel
Grant me chastity and continence, but not yet!—Saint Augustine
akshar:
Carl Gustav Jung was a founder of analytical psychology (if you've heard of concepts like the shadow, anima and animus, introversion and extroversion, psychological types, or archetypes and symbols—a lot of those terms and ideas derive from his work). He was a friend and colleague of Sigmund Freud for several years, until they had a falling out over some of the very core theories of psychoanalysis.
I can’t be speaking on Honoré Balzac, but Wikipedia has some information on him here.
Knowledge is Power by Francis Bacon
In faith there is enough light for those who want to believe and enough shadows to blind those who don't.• There are only three types of people; those who have found God and serve him; those who have not found God and seek him, and those who live not seeking, or finding him. The first are rational and happy; the second unhappy and rational, and the third foolish and unhappy.• There are only two kinds of men: the righteous who think they are sinners and the sinners who think they are righteous.• Jesus is the God whom we can approach without pride and before whom we can humble ourselves without despair.• Blaise Pascal

If they are quotes, they must be in [quote] [quote]
Also, I think he is just trying to increase his points as his points are below -20
