SeaMonkey? What's the difference?

I just read about the latest Mozillia creation, SeaMonkey.
I guess my only question is how is it different that Firebird and Thunderbird?
Has anyone here downloaded it an is currently using it?

Im thinking this would be a creation that combines the two of them and replaces their glitches

Although I use Firefox alot i'm not really a fan of it, Im more a maxthon person, maxthon is, if you don't know already, Internet Explorer with added features including tabs, utilities and much more. It also has many addons that you can download as well as different skins. Top Choice Very Happy

seamonkey isnt just a browser, its an entire suite. it was perviously known as mozilla. it has a broser, email client, chat client, irc, etc... very useful if you like a all in one solution

SeaMonkey can perfectly be use as only a browser (When you install it, you're asked if you want only the browser, the complete suite, or a custom install).

SeaMonkey is kind of Firefox for power users
(Whereas Firefox is kind of SeaMonkey for dummies).
SeaMonkey has more features, more configuration options, but must of them are useless for a beginner.

It's also important to say that SeaMonkey use less ressources than Firefox (it doesn't use the same code for UI (XPFE instead of "Toolkit"), and the native functions are faster)
