Recently Israel had a ship attacked by a drone. I thought, great, a boat with a brick on the accelerator, but low and behold:

It seems Hezbollah also has remote aircraft that is capable of evading Israel’s air defense system. Wasn't Israel’s air defense system our air defense system just 10 years ago? They use F16 and F15 fighter’s right?
The whole region is getting out of control, and technology is emerging that will eventually threaten everyone. I suspect that if the situation is given another 5 years, we will start to see other weapons come up that are far more dangerous. If a strong faction can engineer aircraft capable of evading a modern fighter, how long before they integrate other technologies into it? Would leaving now restore order?
I don’t think so, but then I think the entire situation has left our control for good. At this point, it is up to American engineers to develop groundbreaking technology that exceeds anything that a potential enemy can produce. We should get out of the Middle East and use the money we are spending on education. Right now the US is slipping behind, and from what I read in the news, I suspect we will continue to slip until a greater percentage of Americans come around to beating the enemy by outsmarting them, rather than this retarded game of hit the gopher.
