Shadowrun 4th Ed.

A group of us just started a SR4 tabletop recently and it's been a lot of fun. I've come up with so many different characters but my first character still hasn't died yet, despite some stupid stunts by certain teammates. ^^* The whole everything wireless though is kinda interesting. Nothing is safe from hackers. Twisted Evil

I'm not sure if this is a good thing or a bad thing.

I like Shadowrun a lot and just wanted to talk about it and see what people's opinion about some of the rules and changes with 4th ed. Hope to hear from someone. Very Happy

i wish they'd make another computer game of Shadowrun...
the last one on SNES was pretty fun but they could definitely do heaps better with todays graphics and engines...
its a very good universe why don't they take advantage of it. Almost every prominent tabletop game i can think of has made an excellent transition to computer games with great success. think mechwarrior / warhammer.

From what I hear, they are in the process of making a SR videogame, though I forget for which system. But it's said that they changed the history of SR for the video game. They kept the world, where people awaken and there's metatypes but overall the history is different. I don't remember how they changed it but it's probably since everything was supposed to happen in what... 1999 right? and now it's past 1999. I'll have to refind out the info.
