I doubt anyone will be able to help me since I can't provide more than one vague detail, but I'm hoping someone else might know..
there was a children's book that I had back in the late 60s or early 70s.. I have no clue what the name was, but the premise was that it was about a group of kids that ended up on a pirate ship (I think there were pirates.. not sure).. anyway, the ship capsizes and the characters are thrown into shark-infested waters.. as they sink to nearly certain death, they decide there's only one thing to do.. pull the plug from the bottom of the sea/bathtub.. everything is ok and it ends on that note
