my computer contain network card but the os cannot detect any network card presents . So help what steps i take to clear this problem?
Network card problem?
It would be helpfull knowing which OS you use.... lets say it's any Windows
Rightclick "My Computer" -> Properties -> Hardware-Manager
and see if network-adapter is visible and drivers are installed properly.
If you don't see any network there it can be possible that you have an onboard-network-adapter and it has to be enabled in BIOS. To do so, hit "DEL"-Key on turning on your computer and browse the tabs in your BIOS for something like "PCI-Settings".

When looking in device manager as suggested above, also look for anything called "other devices"
If there is no driver installed for your NIC then it will likely be listed an an "other device"

If you are sure its not detecting at all. Open the case and change the PCI slot it is in.
Thank you for your great support!
i think your network card may have problem, if you r using 2000 or XP or higher they will automatically detect, other wise u want to install manually...
Use HWInfo32 to Determine Thex Exact NIC Type
