Is there a Perl-powered type of forum? Can anyone give a example of that? I voted for php-type of forum because I have used them, and they seemed user-friendly and gives me no problem at all.

I voted php, but have noticed reports of bugs and bots. When testing my site which is quite obscure at this stage I am always seeing numerous guests one time up to 9 at a time. What damage do these bots do and what is the best way to block them???. Is php the more stable or would perl prevent this?

These bots do not damage, most of the time your website is protected. These bots called visitors cannnot register if you have a visual code. There are scripts to prevent this but, it wouldnt be neccesary to use them. I voted PHP because I use personal sites. Perl goes with sites of business, thats why they dont look as astounding as PHP and have more tabs and a homepage unlike phpbb forums.
