Are you planning to use that font colour in the main text? Because I think that colour will look better over a darker background.
What about if I darkened the color of the text?
That's pretty good. Although I'm not so crazy about the bright yellow background. Maybe you could tone down the saturation on that color a bit. Also the text in the two columns is a little hard to read near the top (This is the left column, etc.) The white text fades into the pale green background at the top of the gradient a little too much.

I like that font color... In fact I use a similar color in the text on my MSN Space.
It might be just me cos I am a bit phobic to light, but the middle column just seems to be too white...it's like it's bursting with white light...hehe...how about trying a black background in the main text area?

It looks pretty good,but you should do something with the color.Try more lighter color?
I'm not so sure about that background color, yellow(ish) is the most received color by the eyes... so it may be stressful to ppls eyes after a while.
I do really like the two information boxes at the top of the screen, useful, yet they don't get in the way.

That's a nice, simplistic design, but my it really hurts my eyes. And I'm not kidding. Once It loaded my eyes had to readjust. Good job on the design though. Content is clear amd well presented.

Beatiful design! Just change the colors of your google ads to green! (like you'r main site)
layout-wise, it might not work for a community site where there is a lot of content/options to use.
For a blog site, this narrow content might work better. You might want to change to a (not fixed width) content that better works with all available screen size.

your really should consider making it 100% viewable for explorer since there are more ie users out there than firefox..

the fonts are okay . There's nothing wrong with it. 
Really hurts my eyes if I'm reading quite a lot of text (that there is on the main page). That's the only thing I can think of.
That eye burning color scheme isn't a good idea if you want to make people read stuff. A simple tweak: change your background color from #EFFF9D to #EFEFEF... that would make everything else much more readable.
