Can I use my own domain name instead of the sub domain from frihost?
Use own domain name.
Yes you can. These are the simple steps to follow:
Frihost setup:
1. Login in to DirectAdmin.
2. Click "Domain Setup" under "Your Account".
3. Click "Add Another Domain".
4. Input your own domain (something like "domain.com") and click the "Create" button.
Registrar setup:
1. Set the Nameservers to be:
ns1.frih.net (Primary DNS)
ns2.frih.net (Secondary DNS)
2. Wait for some time (maximum is one day).
I hope that helps...

I'm pretty sure you can. Just go to the email menu, click Forwarders and set the emails up there.

For Microsoft Live, do you have to check your email using hotmail or msn? Is this method the same as redirecting all your emails that come to your domain-inbox to your hotmail account?
Google is also providing free email hosting for your domain. They're giving 2GB of free space per user under your domain. How much is MSN offering?
